Winter Park, Florida: Rollins Press, Inc, Circa 1930s. 7.5 x 5.5", stapled, blue covers, 36 pp, illustrations by Mary Curtis Lee on most pages. A variety of biblical stories from Genesis to Daniel written in rhyme. According to newspapers and letters fromt the time, it appears the author was a founder of the Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia, where she was headmistress for several decades. An inscription in ink to the title page implies the book is a gift to her niece Augusta Carlisle Noland, who would eventually attend the all-girls boarding school and eventually become a writer as well. Staining to covers, foxing to text block edge.

A scarce broadside soliciting subscribers to the Bennington Banner, a Vermont newspaper founded in 1841. The colorful broadside calls the newspaper the "Best Family Newspaper in Vermont," and notes that "we give a large amount more Reading Matter than any other paper printed or published in this County," while offering the paper for the price of two dollars per year.
