The author was actually Austin Parker, an American who flew with the French Air Force in World War I (see his profile in Nordhoff and Hall, Lafayette Flying Corps). He also flew with the Italian Air Force in WWI. Blue cloth hardback book in good condition; general wear, age toning. Otherwise spine and pages are good. Spine cocked. Numerous illustrations by John R. Neill. No dust jacket.
