Description:
Fethistory, 2019. Second Edition. Softcover. Small quarto. 203pp. Illustrated with b&w photos and drawings throughout. A near fine copy. Charles Guyette, the "G-string King," referenced in the film of Wonder Woman's creator, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, and costumer to Bettie Page, was the first person to produce and distribute fetish art in America. In 1935, he was arrested and sent to federal prison. But what should've been the end was just the beginning. Although rarely credited by name in his lifetime, he influenced everyone who followed him, particularly the publishers Robert Harrison, John Willie, Irving Klaw, and Leonard Burtman. The aim of this book was to evoke the spirit of Guyette to collect surviving fragments of a decimated catalog largely by referencing vintage fetish publications from the 1930s through the 1980s and reconstruct a lost history. This portfolio of images is followed by biographical information seen nowhere else, and serves as a…

No place: No publisher, no date [1953]. First Edition. Small printed envelope which contains a one page sheet of instructions (on one side only) plus a manilla envelope and 4 smaller white envelopes. Inside the manilla envelope is a fake coin (removed from its plastic wrap, though wrap still present) with one side being a 1952 Washington quarter, the other side is a Chinese coin with a square in the middle. The 2 effects listed on the sheet require a regular quarter and a Chinese coin. It is unclear if the real Chinese coin was supposed to be included here or provided from another source. The only coin here is the fake coin with two sides. The fake coin shows some wear from use. The envelopes and instruction sheet are in very nice condition. The outer envelope has light edge wear. Very good to near fine. The magician causes an American quarter to transform into an antique brass Chinese coin, that has a hole right through its center! Same border design to back panel. Limited to 80 hand-numbered copies, this being No. 50. With b&w photographs. A near fine copy. This groundbreaking release is the first authoritative work on Ludwig Klages and his pagan metaphysics ever to be published in English. Without a doubt Klages is one of the most intriguing and enigmatic pagan thinkers of the early 20th Century. A figure of great controversy he radically rejected Christianity and Monotheism in favor of a pan-daemonic paganism. Advocating the return to primordial states of consciousness through magico-erotic encounters with the living powers of the ensouled cosmos, Klages was a driving…
