Very Good condition in Very Good original dustwrapper which has a small stain to the reverse at the upper edge, and is not price-clipped. The author's debut novel. Also issued in a variant 'Waterstone's Edition' with dyed blue page edges (this volume has plain edges).

Iris Bromige (née White; 1910 - 2004). Bromige also wrote four of her earlier novels under the name of Anne Tracey.
