London: Methuen, 1915. First Thus . Original Decorated Cloth. Good Plus. Jessie M. King. Oscar Wilde's wonderfully illustrated edition of 'A House of Pomegranates', compete with 16 plates, title-page, decorated endpapers, binding and letter initials by Jessie M. King. The first edition with these illustrations & in this larger format, stated sixth Methuen edition overall. Tight & sound, spine cloth slightly sunned, moderate foxing throughout, a few lower page corners with gentle tidemark. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Two of the tipped-in plates have small corner-creases. Minor careful repair to head of spine. Bold orange decorative framing to front board & spine over blue cloth.
