All of the magazines inside are in great condition, and the 6 volumes contain all 96 issues. In 1973, Marshall Cavendish published what would today be considered a strange series, especially for the magazine form. In 96 weeks it published 96 issues of a magazine detailing the history of World War II. Strikingly well-researched and written, the six volumes include over 3000 maps, photographs, and diagrams (most in color). There's also a good mix of academic historical rigor, entertainment value, and even first-hand accounts. We are unlikely to experience such an impressive undertaking in magazine form ever again.
