Hardcover, 4 5/8" x 6 3/4", dark navy boards with gilt lettering with red and white yin yang symbol painted on rear board, 6 folding maps, additional B & W illustrations, no dust jacket, [5] [i] ii-iv [4] 243 [1] [i] [ii-viii] [xx]. Very good, rubbed and worn cloth at spine ends, similar light wear and rubbing at cloth edges and corners with some curling to corner and soiling to sections. Map of Soochow with some tears, pp. 70-76 with some pencil markings, light water damage to perimeter of title page, otherwise minor wear to paper edges.. Carl Crow's revised second edition of Handbook for China published---along with all early printings---by the author in his settled home in Shanghai, where he lived since 1911 and had established the first Western advertising agency. This edition has 6 fold-out colored maps of China---including Shanghai, Soochow, Peking, Tientsin, Hong Kong---and additional B & W maps of the interior.

Softcover octavo, staple-bound in light blue paper wrappers with black lettering, 8 pp. Fair, full separation of text block from paper wrappers which are held together with scotch tape, paper wrappers have moderate creasing and a couple 2 cm tears with considerable wear and chipping to perimeter aspects, text block is still staple bound and annotated with pencil and ink markings.. Pamphlet issued by The International Theosophical Order of Service for leaders instructing on practices and ritual of local groups. This specific pamphlet, which is annotated and presumed to formerly belong (as is stamped on front page) to "National Head Brother HEALING GROUP Esther Marksbery Box 158 Bear Lake, Michigan". On pp. 5, a 5.3 x 3.5" index card paper-clipped with an "INVOCATION TO THE HEALING DEVAS"

Columbus, Ohio: Astrological Services, 1968. Softcover octavo, saddle-stapled in green paper wrappers with black lettering and decoration, 20 pp. [22]. Very good, light wear and creasing to perimeter aspects of wraps and along saddle-stapled spine, light soiling to cover wrappers, stamp on front free end paper "Property of the NCGR Library" and has rubbed off on interior of front cover wrapper. Fay Maxwell's interpretation of interpersonal relationships and singular rites to life on earth focused through the lens of a caretaker of astrology and it's accompanying speculative principles. The preface states the author has over 25 years of experience in domestic relationship guidance and encourages the reader to seek aid outside orthodox modes like the family circle.

Very Good jacket, unclipped, shows some shallow creasing and tearing to edges, light toning, soiling, rubbing.. Flat-signed by Puig in marker to front free end paper.

Unprinted transparency front wrap with blue textured rear wrap. 280 pp. Near Fine. Uncorrected Galley Proof of Barger's memoir recounting his years founding and leading the infamous Hells Angels, from the 1950s through the late 1990s. Original corrections, edits, and notes are here photocopied from the original pen marks. A much more "working" copy of a circulated galley than commonly seen, and this title is very uncommon on the market in galley form.
