A very sought after and rare moominbook and first ever hardcover of kometjakten realsed only one year after the first edition 1946 which was a softcover though. This is the second edition ever.

Has gone up a bit on the backof the binding and overall has quite a lot of wear.Has a Finnish sobriety stamp on the front page and name there as well.Slight loss at the lower corner of the cover, which can be seen inthe picture.

The book has remarkably fresh pages, although there are some small dog-eared pages and some minor stains. Though the book is very fresh internally. The front lf the cover seems to have suffered some small water damage or moisture some time in the past. The back also seems to havesuffered from this. There is also wear in the corners.

Has two names on the inside of the board as well as the cover page. Has a small stamp on the print sheet as well. Nice clear colors and good condition inside. Very good condition for age and edition!!

With the wrappers bound in. Very scarce with the wrappers. This is a privately bound beautiful half-leather binding with a built in book-marker.
