DJ gently rubbed at joints and edges, with some creasing to bottom of rear panel. "Horton Hatches the Egg" to rear flap, small closed tear to bottom edge. Previous owner's name (Penny Walton) stamped in black ink to endpapers, ink smudge to ffep and dedication page. Some faint soiling and small closed tears to bottom edge of text block, but overall a very clean and sound copy. Early printing in scarce jacket.
