Description:
Paris France: Berggruen & Cie, 1955. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Klee, Paul . Contents clean. Bound with some of the signature that is glued into a cover. Glue at cover spine is drying out and starting to detach. Cover is quite clean but has folds, chips, and tears at the spine. Inscription in pen from 1957 on title page. Cover is an original lithograph painted by Mourlot Freres after a 1927 watercolor (Klang der südlichen Flora) by Paul Klee. Also tipped in is an unpublished facsimile letter from Paul Klee to Paul Eluard. Has 18 full-page or double-page color reproductions of works by Klee.

Italy: The Jester Press, 1982. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Edward Heffernan. Signed by Author(s). Book as new; slipcase has minor handling marks. Numbered 57 of 125 copies signed in ink by the artist and author. Book is case bound in the full black buckram with matching slipcase and end papers. The spine has been blocked in gold foil and the front cover is blind embossed with the figure of a female. Photo of artist as a young man tipped in as a frontispiece. Introduction by Maree Heffernan has a seven reproductions tipped in. 32 linocuts tipped in with tissue guards sown into the sections. Titles and dates and description of each print is printed opposite on verso. Most linocuts shown in black-and-white, one in full color. Overweight and oversized. Edward Heffernan (1912-1992). Born Melbourne. Painter, teacher and industrial designer. Studied at National Gallery School, 1928-1931. Size/Overweight charges will apply.

Jersey City, NJ: Linoleum-Block Printing Supply Co. Chap book staples. Very Good. The linoleum blocks were cut by the Class in Printing, State Home for Boys, Jamesburg, N.J. (a juvenile detention center opened c. 1867) Undated c. 1920 - 30s. 6-1/4"x9-3/4", staple-bound wraps, 13pp., including 4 color illustrations printed one side as well as the cover, frontice and last page - they all appear to be printed from the blocks (not sure). Interior is bright, cover shows some dirt but is in VG+ condition.
