Daniel Easterman was pseudonym for Irish born writer and academic Denis Mac Eoin. He had a particular focus on Persian, Arabic and Islamic Studies.
He wrote several novels, The Last Assassin, a thriller set in revolutionary Iran, being his debut novel.
Boards clean. Binding tight. No inscriptions or markings. Top edge text block somewhat dusty. Fore edge tanning a little. A VG+ copy.

Contemporary tree calf with a little wear in places. Gilt lettering on spine with morocco label. Wear to head and tail of spine. Front board starting but still very much attached. Binding generally good. Not shaken.
Internally, no markings or inscriptions except for previous owner signature with date of November 1837 on first blank.
All leaves intact with scattered foxing throughout. Sometimes heavy.
Condition Fair minus and priced accordingly.

Book is internally very clean with no markings, inscriptions, foxing or spotting. Title page in black and sepia. Several woodcuts in sepia by illustrator Stuart Boyle. Top edge gilt with other edges untrimmed.
Olive green cloth boards. Gilt lettering on spine. Spine a little faded and with a little fading to top portion of rear board. Else fine.
