There are also chips at spine ends, flap folds, and corners, and a small triangular chip in the middle of the spine obscuring part of the author's first name. A "biographical narrative" by the daughter of a Texas wildcatter.

The front board has a three color illustration of an old automobile with five occupants in evening dress.
