Pamphlet (approximately 4 3/8" x 7 3/8"), stitched as issued. 25, [1]pp. Yellow printed paper wrappers with an advertisement for a local resort on rear wrapper. In 1875, Dr. Charles Cresson performed a chemical analysis on the Minnequa Spring in western Pennsylvania and concluded that the waters had a medical advantage over other locations. This pamphlet includes his data and written report. Dr. F. Hinkle then proceeds to outline the effects of a water cure on a variety of ailments, which is then followed by testimonials from satisfied patients. Although this pamphlet was originally issued in 1875, it was reissued in 1876 to reflect new lower prices for Minnequa water for the upcoming year. Light soiling to wrappers. Near fine.
