The quality of these 66 posters definitely varies. You can tell, as with any school project, that some students put more thought and effort into the endeavor than others. That said, you really get a feel for the kids in this small Maine town and for end of the 1980s culture. Some students clearly were thinking ahead to college, careers, and having families while others were still in a place where they were finding themselves. A lot of the guys really liked skateboarding, which doesn't surprise me, remembering that year. One the posters is disturbing; it mentions guns in schools. All in all, this is quite a charming and sometimes earnest time capsule of seniors' lives as they're about to head out into the world. The posters come in what appears to be an archival clamshell box made for the set complete with cover and spine labels. The box has a little wear; the posters are in fine condition.
