He lost his land when government usurped his land, which was part of the Comanche reservation, for the white settlers. The government never gave another chief this title. The modern Comanche Nation's leader is a chairman who is elected through voting. Included is a "Timeline," "Further Reading," "Websites," and a "Bibliography." All helpful for additional research about Quanah Parker.
