Original Octavo Marbled Boards, (xii), 375 pages, 2 Maps in colour, 1 folded, colour Frontispiece "Geyser, Boiling Cataracts, and Steam-Jets on the Waikato", three chromolithographic Plates, 18 B&W woodcuts. Being selections from the Journals and Letters of Lieutenant Meade. The author served (1864, 1865) on "HMS Curaçoa" and "HMS Esk". Scarce, slight wear and stains to preliminaries, front hinge starting, clean internally, Very Good.
