Laid in is a hand-written letter (both sides) from Deighton to Colonel R.O. Bellin in Cranston, Rhode Island. In the letter, Deighton expresses his fascination for all things aviation, particularly Zeppelins, and regrets not living in London at the moment, so he cannot meet the Colonel when he visits. Deighton also recommends two or three booksellers he might want to visit.

With original illustrations by the author. An essay commissioned by the Fitzgerald Society on the occasion of Fitzgerald 102nd birthday. Issued in a numbered edition of 250 copies in wrappers, and 26 lettered copies in hardcover; this is #238/250 copies in tan pictorial wraps, with illustrations by the author.
