Dust jacket is taped to top and bottom on book. No cover defects can be observed aside from a tiny wear spot on spine's tail. No indication of being in a library other than one top front cover and one top back cover library sticker. Page indents from handling. The mylar cover has provided excellent protection for the book's covers. The watercolor pictures are superb. See photos. A wonderful story to read to a child ages 3-8 or to be enjoyed by all ages.
