Volume II is a bibliographical catalogue of Sadleir's "Yellow-back collection" together with a section on "Novelist's Libraries, Standard Novels, the Parlour Library, and other cloth (or cloth and board) bound fiction (or part-fiction) series." Sadleir's work is primarily based on his own fiction collection, but in many cases he expanded the scope to provide complete bibliographies for previously-unbibliographed authors, even including non-fiction works.
