Spirae, Typis Bernardi. Albini, 1599. Hardcover. Good. 4to. [8], 198, [2] p. Engraved title page and 79 plates engraved by H. Siebmacher. Markings and bowing to original plain white vellum (?) boards, 6cm horizontal tear to ffl, title page and dedication and minor markings to some pages but apart from that, in good condition for its age. Red tape page-marker secure. Bookplate of William Waldorf, Viscount Astor of Hever Castle inside front board. An important early numismatic title with good quality engravings and good coverage of the imperial wives.
