The author describes the Children's Crusade as a tragedy because children lost their lives defending an empty tomb. The crusade in this story; the one advocated by movements like the Christian Endeavor Societies, enlisted children to work at "helping on Christ's kingdom." A few stains on both covers, otherwise a strong VG.
