Postcard was mailed from Minnicoganamene, Georgian Bay, ONT Canada to De Pere, Wisconsin USA on Aug 11, 1916. Well centered, but faint CDS Cancel on Canada MR1 War Tax Stamp. While War Tax stamp were intended to be used ONLY for tax purposes (on Mail), postage use was tolerated until April 1916. This one was obviously not caught or was allowed to pass through. Light edge and corner wear and a less than ¼" tear on the left side of the postcard
