First edition. This book has been written to answer the general question: What is the study of animal behavior about? It is also intended as a textbook, which means that it attempts to give a fair and accurate picture of a field of knowledge. It is designed for the general reader or the student who wishes to learn something for themselves. Condition: Previous owner's name on front end paper, corners gently bumped and rubbed, light wear at spine ends. Jacket with spine and edge chips and tears, soiled else a very good copy in a good jacket.
