Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards are bowed. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine.
