SIGNED by the son of the author, Edward Swift Newton, son of A. Edward Newton, the Prince of Bibliophiles, being inscribed warmly, "Dear Fran Spenser, I am beginning to think "This Book-Collecting Game["] is more fun than bridge--but incidentally it is much more expensive even playing for high stakes which I love to do. Edward Newton. Feb. 24, 1941." Stated second printing, from October of 1928. Bound handsomely in two-tone, light blue paper over boards, sunned a bit along edge, dark blue cloth-backed, with a sharp and attractive paper label title. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing moderate wear, protected by a plastic coat, price-clipped. Three pink grease-pencil marks in margin, else clean. Prelims + 2-410 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
