Very Good/No Jacket. 573pp. Blind-stamped green cloth, gilt lettering and publisher's device on spine, 12 engraved illustrations. Extremities very lightly rubbed, binding is tight and sound, spine lettering still bright, text is age-toned, foxing to endpapers and very occasionally in text, former owner's name and date on front free endpaper, bookseller's ticket on pastedown. A nicely preserved book.
