London: C. Dilly, 1786. 3rd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A very early book on electricity containing 5 copper plates in two volumes in very good condition. Recently rebacked with gilt decorations and spine labels. Ex libris Edinburgh Theological Library with bookplates on endpapers and a few neat, contemporary, marginal annotations in volume one and on endpapers. Collated complete although pages xvii - xxiv from the Introduction in volume one have been misbound at end.
