First edition. The careful decoration and the expressive design make "Die Fischer" a book-artistic gem from the time of the early Art Nouveau.
Description: vellum spine with Art Nouveau decorated paper boards, upper board with paper lettering label printed in black. Endpapers in the same decor as the cover. In original light brown cardboard slipcase. Octavo: 18 × 12 cm; pp. 94. All edges gilt.

Condition: A couple of gatherings with cords visible at gutter, but still unbroken. Apart from that, a very good copy, complete, in the rare original cardboard slipcase.
