From 1983 to 2014, he was the literary editor of The New Republic. And he was a contributing editor and critic at The Atlantic until October 2017. Blue boards lettered in gilt on the spine; dustjacket by Bob Korn. Light wear at the corners of the dustjacket; price intact; aside from the author's inscription, no interior markings. And that erupted in a synagogue full of worshippers, on the eve of Yom Kippur, the start of the Day of Atonement..
