J W Arrowsmith, 1924. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1924. First Edition. 246 pages. No dust jacket. Limited Edition Number 177 of 265 copies. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Several in-text diagrams. Upper text block edge gilt. Small, faint brown stains (approx. 1cm) to pages on occasion, not affecting text. Minimal foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's name and slight rubbing to front paste down. Some gutter cracking. Pages are rough cut. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners. Notable uneven sunning to spine and boards, with scuffing, mottling and marking across the boards. Faint water splash marks most notable to rear. Gilt is bright. Book has a very mild forward lean.
