It is presented in a deluxe leatherbound Franklin Library reprint edition of with illustrations by Jerry Pinkney. An entry in the publisher's 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series, issued in conjunction with the Bicentennial of the American Revolution. One of an unspecified number in this limited edition. Publisher's "Notes from the Editors" booklet is included. --- Bound in full red bonded leather covers with four raised bands on spine. Spine titling, elaborate decorations to covers and spine, and textblock edges (AEG) all in bright gilt. Interior leaves printed on high-quality papers. Burgundy silk moire endpapers, with matching sewn-in satin ribbon placemarker. Volume lacks a dust jacket (as issued). --- An excellent, gift-worthy copy though with conspicuous indentation to front cover, otherwise lacking apparent damages.
