Illustrated dust jacket (designed by George Salter) over red paper covered boards with green cloth spine. Signed by the author to second blank leaf 'with all warm wishes to Carolyn Cobb'. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Top textblock edge dyed grey. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor wear marks to boards. Book has a mild forward lean. Clipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine. Spine is notably sunned.
