Straight, tight and clean with no markings, spine-end and corner bumps, light wear to edges, textblock age-toned. Dustjacket unclipped bearing original price, rubs, edge chips, wear to flap folds, large chips to head of spine and rear panel, in new Brodart sleeve. A straightforward, comprehensive, account of Hawaii's dramatic role during WWII based on material collected over a six year period by the Hawaii War Records Depository and written by an Island newspaperwoman with the proper perspective for an unbiased approach to a subject of such massive scope.
