About This Item

Melrose, Florida: Theodore R. Crom, 1980. First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine. First Edition. xiv, 678 pages. Folio (12 x 9 3/8 inches). Publisher's original brown cloth with gilt decorations. An inscribed copy from author Crom to tool dealer Phil Stanley: "To Phil Stanley - in a good swap for some "pre-owned" metal. Hope, Phil, you enjoy this book as much as I did writing it. Ted Crom 28 March 1997". A heavy book which may require additional postage. Mild corner bump. Cloth. A fine reference book and standard reference on the subject, well illustrated with examples from a variety of firms. As with Ted's other books, the quality of his research is excellent and even years after their release they have retained their value to collectors and dealers alike.

From the library of tool and scientific instrument dealer Philip Stanley.
