London: Williams and Norgate. Library Edition (demy 8vo). 1st thus (May 1923). 239pp. Original green cloth with gilt titles to spine. VG copy, binding square and tight, corners gently bumped, covers clean and bright, spine dulled and discoloured but gilt reasonably bright, internally very good, no dust jacket. Pencil initials on front pastedown of English Establishment artist Sir Lawrence Gowing (1918-1991), the ex-husband of English writer and Bloomsbury group member Julia Strachey (1901-1979) who was the author's niece . Very Good. Hardcover. 1923.
