Salmon colored cloth, spine titles in gilt on brown panel, top edge dyed ochre. Title page signed by the author in ball point. Boards square, leaves crisp and bright, binding tight. In the illustrated dust jacket, price clipped: light scuffs and a faint cup ring on the front panel. Tales of the town where the Rhodes Scholar and Bryn Mawr professor of philosophy was born and raised, including the libel trials of newspaperman Carl C. Magee. In the crisp type and fine printing typical of this publisher.
