London : Longmans, Green and Co, 1909. Cloth. Very Good. 9" by 5.5". None. A collection of letters on the concept of conflict versus neutrality from Thomas Erskine Holland. Sir Thomas Erskine Holland (17 July 1835 24 May 1926) was a British jurist. Inscribed to the front endpaper, 'To E. A. Whittack, with the author's kind regards'. In a purple cloth binding. Externally, smart, though with with considerable fading to the spine, and an institutional label. Internally, firmly bound. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown, with ink signature to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright, though with some light foxing throughout. Very Good
