Vol.1: f/piece portrait with tissue guard + 685 (inc. prelims), 22 further ills. on plates ex-pagination (some 2 per plate; fr. end- paper has a 1929-dated sig., a 3-line erasable pencil 1977-dated gift inscription, partly illegible and erasable pencil sig.of Derek Gibson + date (this is Derek Gair Gibson (1935-1921 eminent pioneering British cardiologist), otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Vol.2: f/piece with tissue-guard + x + (2) + 728, 20 further ills on plates ex-pagination; condition as Vol.1 but no gift inscription on front end-paper. Weighs near 2.5 kg so allow for significant additional postage, espcially outside U.K. 15.5 cm x 23.5 cm.
