Fireside Theatre Book Club Edition, 97 pages, agewear & darkening. Comedy about love, marriage and divorce. Opened in New York at the Booth Theatre on 12 November 1964 with Alan Arkin, Eli Wallach, and Anne Jackson, and directed by Mike Nichols. Schisgal, 1926-2020, was born in Brooklyn to Jewish immigrant parents. LUV was his Broadway debut and was nominated for a Tony Award. He is also the author of Jimmy Shine, 74 Georgia Avenue, All Over Town, and the script for the 1982 movie Tootsie.
