London: Philip Lee Warner/Medici Society, 1910. Limited edition. Hardcover. Fine. Flint, W. Russell. #395 of 500 numbered copies from an edition of 512. 4 quarto volumes, full limp vellum. Printed on handmade Riccardi paper, top edge gilt, other edges uncut. 48 mounted color plates by W. Russell Flint with captioned tissue guards. Laid in are two bookmarks advertising the press and one folded sheet listing more titles. The green ribbon ties are all present, but two are truncated on volumes 1 and 3.
Later editions of this popular work reduced the number of volumes and illustrations, first to 2 volumes with only 36 plates then down to one volume with 24 of the luminous plates.
