American composer of musical theater and popular music (1885-1945), considered one of the most important American composers of theater music in the first part of the 20th Century.
Signed score for his theater musical "Music in the Air", first edition, 1933, published by T.B. Harms, New York. Kern signed this printed score for voice and piano on the title page, and inscribed it to custom designer Madi Christians.
Size is 8.75 x 11.5 inches, softcover, 216 numbered pages plus extras, spine is partially loose and repaired with tape, in overall very good condition.
