London: Stanley Paul and Co, 1960. 235 pages. B/w frontispiece and many b/w photo plates. Slight tanning on endpapers. Original red boards with rules, titling and publisher's device on the spine. The dustwrapper is worn, chipped and marked; the dustwrapper spine is sunned as usual. Rare. Signed and inscribed by Mockridge's widow, Irene Mockridge, and dated August 2, 1961. NOTE: The entire lower panel (rear cover) of the dustwrapper is an advertisement for Percy Cerutty's book Athletics: How To Become a Champion. The words "2nd impression" which appear at the bottom of that advertisement refer to Cerutty's book, not to My World on Wheels!. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good.
