About This Item
Chicago: National League of Industrial Art, 1902. Hardcover. Small 4to. Tan cloth spine with blue lettering and blue paper over boards with gilt lettering and decoration. 167pp. Frontispiece, illustrations. Very good. Mild bit of edgewear and minor soiling. Tight, nice first edition of the first volume (only) of a 4-volume set titled "A Winter's Work" -- a scarce and desirable early Wright effort. Triggs contributes the first part ("Industrial Art"), Jackman the second part ("The Future School"), and Wright the third part ("The Art and Craft of the Machine"). Limited to 500 numbered copies (this #468).
