Full number line printed on copyright page. Solid text block, light rubbing to corners, a fine example. In the publisher's dust jacket, $14.95 retail price on front flap, shelf wear, wear to spine edges, a touch of chipping to spine and corners, a near fine example. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper: "For Paul Wolfowitz / With Best Wishes (+ Happy Reading on The Far East) / Bill Cohen." Laid-in is a note on Robert L. Downen's stationery referring Wolfowitz to a specific passage in the book. William S. Cohen served in both the House of Representatives and the Senate before beginning his term as Secretary of Defense in the Clinton administration. Paul Wolfowitz is an academic and politician best known for his time as President of the World Bank, as well as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense during the George W. Bush administration.
