Consolidated Book Publishers, 1939. Hardcover. Fair - Cash. Dark blue covers with gold gilt lettering and detailing to the spine. Heavy surface and edge wear to the cover. The corners have been bumped. The boards are beginning to show in the corners and in a few spots along the edges. The gold gilt on the spine is dulling. Tears at the top of the spine that reveal some of the binding. Pages show reader and age wear. Water damage and staining to the bottom half of the volumes. A few volumes have been more affected than the others. Water waving to the bottom half of the pages. Soiling to a few of the pages. A small passage in Vol. 7 has been cut out. Several cracks in the spines throughout each volume. Several of the cracks reveal the netting. Pages still appear to be secure. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
