Corners are crisp and pages are bright and clean. This first edition scarce copy of the Miller family's biography of the beekeeping LDS magnate Nephi E. Miller is in excellent condition. As a pioneer moving West from Utah to California in the early 20th century, Miller used his entreprenuereal spirit to innovate solutions to the novel practice of migratory beekeeping in the United States, facing cold winters and supply issues. With black and white reproductions of photographs from the family collection documenting his childhood, hive management, and the progression of his company's warehouses throughout the years.
