New York and Chicago : Ivison, Blakeman, Taylor and Company , 1886. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8vo. 384 pages. Hardcover bound in brown cloth with a black leather spine. There is significant wear to the binding, which is heavily rubbed and bumped at the edges. The back cover in particular shows scuff marks and other markings. Secure inner hinges. The outer edges of the text block are toned. There is foxing and/or spotting to the end papers and sporadically throughout the text. The text is toned but otherwise clean and sound. Contains some illustrations.
