This is THE textbook that anyone who is serious about Human Physiology will want to keep as a reference. This book was written by Arthur C. Guyton, the eminent medical educator and researcher probably best know for discovering what causes high blood pressure and how to treat it. (I will let you read the book to find the answers.)
I used this book in my Physiology class in 1969. I lost the book when Hurricane Katrina flooded my home. I enjoyed this book so much that I had to search Biblio.com to add it back to my library.
