Special Edition privately printed for the members of The Classics of Neurology & Neurosurgery Library. This is copy no. 225 of 1,000 from the library of John Edmeads. xiv,582 p.p. Illustrated with photographs of types head trauma throughout. Includes a 24 .p.p. pamphlet on the author, loosely inserted. Publishers genuine pig skin binding in red, with boards brass-die stamped in 22-karot gold. A.e.g. Title in gilt on spine. Leather bookplate of John Edmeads in front pastedown endpaper. Light rubbing to edges. Inner edge of rear board scuffed. Corners are slightly bumped, otherwise a near fine copy. Dr. John Edmeads [1936-2006] was a Canadian neurologist and world renowned specialist on headaches and migraines. He practiced at Sunnybrook Hospital and was an award winning lecturer at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
