The Truth About Bookselling by Thomas Joy, with a foreword by Sir Stanley Unwin. Hardback, 1964, first edition, published by Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons Ltd, London, 206 pages + x. Signed/inscribed on title page: "To George Depotex [?] from his friend Tommy Nov. 10th 1964 Thomas Joy".
Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 3/4" by 5 3/4" by 3/4". Dust jacket shows scuffing and marking, with wear and slight tearing at spine edges. Blue cloth binding, silver lettering and detail to front board, silver lettering to spine. A little wear to edges but clean. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges browned, a bit foxed and scuffed. The odd bit of foxing to page surfaces, more so towards endpapers, but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
